I don’t have any social medias so I couldn’t write about how grateful I am t0 you guys for this podcast. By far the most motivational podcast I’ve ever listened to. I can be mad, in a terrible mood, dissapointed, unmotivated etc. and all I have to do is throw in any episode of your podcast and I GET AFTER IT. I have terrible discipline, but you’ve taught me to mentally override my feelings that are holding me down, and be able to take that step back and access my situations from a detached position. Again, this here doesn’t do enough justice to how much you, Jocko, have inspired me to get my life together. I will be a fan and a follower of yours forever.
God Bless
This podcast, man… You guys are the shit!
I bent my ankle in half Friday last week and felt really shitty all weekend, one leg completely useless unable to hold any weight so I sat around feeling negative all weekend and on Tuesday I listened to episode 5 while playing some video games and I thought to myself, WWJD? He would fucking get up and work out and do whatever his injury would allow so I started doing some sitting calf raises and some stretching and was able to walk around all day yesterday and get back out in the shop to do some work, I did a pretty good upper body workout with a good set of body weight half squats and then I hear this episode while your talking about doing whatever you can. Anyway, I’ve been pretty good at keeping myself in check these past 35 years but I had been feeling more and more like I’m the only one and it’s awesome to hear that there are so many more people out there getting after it. Thanks for doing the show.
