Czech’s rolled over in 1968? … what exactly would you like to do with 9mil.citizens against army union of Russia, Hungary, Poland and Ukraine?! Yes citizens should have taken a stand with their guns … oh wait! They didn’t have any, because we were under jurisdiction of Russia since Feb.1948 … when F. D. Roosevelt stabbed our back and sold us to „grandpa“Stalin. No, no, we should have had faith that allies like Britan, France and America would come to our aid … just as they did in Sep.1938 at Mnichov, when they sold us to Hitler.
Having friend’s that leave you in the bar whenever there is a brawl one have to think twice waving fists. And yes, the citizens with no guns stood against tanks … that crushed them, stood against soldiers … that shot them. Even 5 young set themselves on fire leaving strong message …
Yet nobody came, nobody took a stand for tiny little friend. Yeah, we rolled over …
Again I am not a troll and hereby I authorize owners of this server to pass my full contact details including telephone number, address, email address to General MacFarland. I stand with my facts straight.
Sincerely
TD.
P.S.: In all fairness I tip my hat for the Ramadi push. You lot, would have made the difference here in the 68th. Salute.

Your articles are concise yet full of valuable information. Thank you for that!
.. to commemorate the heroes that gave their lives for us, those you know and those you do not know. The heroic ethos dissolves in darkness once actions are forgotten. Remember the Marc Alan Lee, Michael Anthony Monsoor, … or may be Jan Palach, that set himself on fire having no other means to oppose the darkness. Do not let that shining beacon of light fade. If you can’t visit the graves … light the candle in the window, as was done during the dark days of communism.

Outstanding episode, general was very self deprecating I can picture why you liked him
and liked working for him. Really a great oral history of what took place over 20 years in the GWOT
To be fair, I give the Ramadan push my best. In the 68th, all of you would have made a difference. Greetings.
