Jocko,
I have been training for the PST to try to earn my spot at BUDs for 2 years now. I finally made it through the long process of the recruiting office and made it to MEPS. Unfortunately I found out there that I had a color blindness deficiency and this could ultimately disqualify me from even getting my shot. I’ve had 20/20 vision my entire life and can see color so I had never been to an eye doctor to know I even had this problem. I’ve been trying to implement the GOOD mindset in this situation, but like you’ve said before, it feels like a calling in my life and I’m getting a raw deal for a minor issue. How would you go about refocusing and seeing the positives in this. Thank you for everything,
Mark
Hey jocko I have a question. U have talked about the importance of having a good diet when you’re training and I’m a freshman college student at Texas tech and the dining option with the meal plan are usually not the healthiest options. And healthy options at the grocery store are usually pretty expensive especially if you’re on a college budget. I have aspirations of joining the military after school and I really enjoy your podcasts. I know this isn’t a huge problem but I’m wondering if u have any recommendations for the eating situation?
