I recently retired after 32 years serving as a Police Officer in a challenging community. I’ve seen some of those atrobutes mentioned in your book displayed by exceptional leaders. As a retired Police Officer I have an overwelming desire to pave a path for the next generation. Thank you for your insight and direction. Please consider reaching out to the Law Enforcement community.
Two takeaways from this episode:
1) I was also largely ignorant of the daily hardships of those living with major, permanent injuries incurred in combat service to this nation. I always held them in high regard, but now even more so. Props to Hererra, and all of our wounded warriors.
2) Thank you for giving a shout out to conventional infantry ! Its an under appreciated job , mainly because it has all of the suck and none of the sexy of SOF. So thanks again.
This podcast episode is a great example of how the Marine Corps ethos can translate to success in all areas of life.
