Thank you for posting this, over 20 years ago I last spoke to a buddy Laz then C Company 2/6 Infantry. I had gone over to Iraq as well with a different unit. When I came home some time later I heard he had died. 26 September around 4:00 you cover it. Never had much detail regarding his death. He was always a happy, hard working dude, always had a smile. He will be remembered always by those of us that knew him.

Thank you for posting this. It brought back a memory from over 20 years ago. I used to know a guy named Laz from C Company, 2/6 Infantry. I also served in Iraq, but with a different unit.
Awesome episode. Served in Ramadi under Col. Deane as a PL. Was out in sector with him many times. Brings back many memories both good and bad of that time that have stayed with me to this day.
Podcast sounds great!
