Love the show Jocko. Any plans to bring on the Nazi helmet wearing SOG operative that is Nick Brokhausen. He has written two excellent books of his time with SOG
Jocko…I am the Blue Falcon, Battalion Signal Officer, of the 224th EN BN, IAARNG that served in Ramadi during this time. I would like to tell you a story about our leadership that brought many aspects to the fight from the citizen Solider aspect. From an English major that lead the battalion (LTC Todd Jacobus) to the Six Sigma MI officer (CPT Eric Rant) that brought the fight to traceable data points to limit and reduce wasted time. I distinctly recall General Gronski mentioning the importance of having executable intelligence in order to fight the insurgents. Both of these Iowa National Guard leaders went on to amazing careers. I was simply fortunate to do my part and witness what happened. I surmised, both of the leaders I mentioned would have a much better ability to share the story and the impact we made than I possibly could.
Thank you for sharing this story. I listened in amazement to reflect on being a part of it.
Thanks,
Devin

Jocko, I am 16 and want to become a seal. I am trying to get in shape early so I can do the best I can. is there anything I can do now to have a positive, never quit mindset that can get me and my team through buds? sorry if this is a silly question. thanks.
I had to listen to this episode in 2 days and just heard about the memorial to the 2-28 and it got really dusty here. Thank you to all who are serving, who have served, and to the families of those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
And thank you Jocko and Echo for bringing these great people on your show. I am eternally grateful.
